Inside a maximum-security prison cell, Abby Maddox is serving twenty years for slashing Seattle PD officer Jerry Isaac's throat during the harrowing capture of her former lover, serial killer Ethan Wolfe. To the demented fans, lunatics, and creeps on the outside, she is a celebrity. But to Jerry, now a private investigator whose scarred neck and tortured speech are daily reminders of Abby's vicious attack, she alone may be the key to solving a new wave of murders. Because this killer has been sending her love letters, and carving a message on the victims' bodies: Free Abby Maddox. With the help of intuitive criminology student Danny Mercy, Puget Sound State professor Sheila Tao, and seasoned detective Mike Torrance, Jerry must coax the shattering truth from isolated, dangerous Abby-before her number one fan takes another life in the name of a killer's perverted idea of justice. About the Author

Jennifer Hillier writes about dark, twisted people who do dark, twisted things. If you ask her why she writes such dark stuff, she’ll stare at you blankly because she still hasn’t figured out a clever way to answer that question. Born and raised in Toronto and a proud Canadian, she currently splits her time between Toronto and Seattle, and is slightly ashamed to admit that she is way more of a Seahawks fan than a Leafs fan … which, she suspects, makes her a bad Canadian. She loves her husband, her cat Kobe, and Stephen King. Not equally, but close.

About the Narrator

Talmadge Ragan is a classically trained professional actor who has appeared on stage, screen, and television. She does voice work for commercials, narrations, films, and radio theater. Her love of reading propelled her to add audiobooks to her repertoire, and she brings authenticity and versatility to her work. Her recordings include Margarita Nights by Phyllis Smallman, The Women’s Rights Movement by Shane Mountjoy, and Afterage by Yvonne Navarro.
