As the third book in the Fifty Shades series, Fifty Shades Freed is one of those must-have downloadable audiobooks.
In Fifty Shades Freed, E.L. James does a splendid job of tying together her steamy, yet romantic story of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. Having finally tied the knot, Ana and Christian embark on a European honeymoon that's loaded with luxuries. Christian proceeds to give Ana gift after gift, as he attempts to shower her with love and attention. However, his controlling ways are bubbling just below the surface, proving that he hasn't changed as much as he's let on.
Upon their return, Christian reveals that he's purchased Seattle Independent Publishing and he promises to name Ana as the company's new president before long. Ana is dealing with issues all her own, including being blackmailed by her former boss, Jack Hyde. Now, Ana must deal with a life-changing situation that drives Christian over the edge, while she informs him that their marriage must end...or else.
Fifty Shades Freed is as full of plot-twisting, heart-racing passion as the first two books in the series. You'll hold your breath with every minute in anticipation of what might happen next.
E. L. James gained fame quickly with the release of her first book, Fifty Shades of Grey. She was amazed at how quickly the book gained recognition from top critics. In addition, the Fifty Shades of Grey series has outsold the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling on Amazon in the U.K. In Fifty Shades Freed E.L. James provides a thought-provoking story with no shortage of excitement. Her sexy plot lines are the driving force behind these incredible books, and she demonstrates a deep understanding of the desires that we sometimes keep hidden deep inside ourselves.
Fifty Shades Freed is the final book in the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy. This downloadable audiobook is available in our audiobookstore, at www.theaudiobookstore.com.
"I know that a lot of the literati make fun of these books but honestly they're not that bad in my opinion. I've enjoyed the story throughout the series and of course the sex is unbelievable in all 3 books. I think I enjoyed the audiobooks more than I would have like reading the books thanks to the great narrator. "

— Entertainment Weekly" Hate the audiobook. I couldn't get more than 10 minutes past the beginning. The narrator ruined it for me which is really upsetting because I LOVE THESE BOOKS. The narrators voice is robotic as she reads and her tone is like the waiting room of a dentist office. Her reading sucks the life from the pages. I definitely do not recommend the audiobook. "
— April, 2/4/2018" It's a very romantic, sexy book. love it very much!!! "
— Listener, 4/4/2017" I really enjoyed listening to the boom "
— Becca, 3/13/2017" Thank goodness that I've finished Book 3 of this drivel. I was really starting to feel "dirty" myself, just indulging in the stupid idiocy of Ana and Christian. So why did I bother, you ask? Don't. Chalk it up to my seriously stupid fascination with "The Bachelor" and/or "The Bachelorette". It's trash. But we can't turn away. "
— Kathleen, 2/20/2014" I think this book may have been my least favorite- I felt like E.L. James tried too hard to wrap the story up in a neat, tidy bow and everything came together almost a little too perfectly for me at the end. I still was completely engrossed, but I would have enjoyed a little more drama. "
— Jessica, 2/7/2014" crap, crap crap "
— Manue, 2/1/2014" So, I am finally finished with the series! After a year now I've gotten to know Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey and their complicated world. I did enjoy this series, but there were definitely some faults. Can't call it a favorite of mine, but it is worth a read for anyone wondering. I know that someone has bought the movie rights to this as well, so let's see how that pans out! As far as the last book goes, I loved it and hated it. The suspenseful side that James introduced in the 2nd book was carried out 10x better in this one! Ana had so many hoops and hurdles to go through, it was pretty interesting to read. Towards the end it was such a page turner. As far as the rest of the book, I was practically forcing myself to read it. It was so repetitive and was basically what happened in the others with some slightly different scenarios. I think it could have been better. And the ending ruined it for me. A sneak peak is given into the rest of Ana and Christians lives, one I did not enjoy. The whole series was basically Christian trying to change his ways for his love for Ana, and then they just revert back to what the whole second book was working on changing. Like, the whole series had no point! I was so disappointed. Anastasia wanted him to change, to love, yet she just succumbs back to his old ways. I thought it would end so differently! The series as a whole, was decent. The second book was my favorite, because it was the most entertaining. If you're wondering whether or not to pick this series up, I'd say go for it if you aren't scared of the sex scenes which are explicit. I am going to miss the up and down relationship of Ana and Christian, although I had hoped they'd berid of their hobbies! All in all it was a good and unique read, despite it being originally a Twilight fan fic, but I'm sure this series will be around years to come! Also, I have a feeling there will be a spin off series. Perhaps the Fifty Shades of Christian, or a Kate & Elliot series! I would probably pass on the Christian one, but I did love Kate & Elliot as a couple! "
— Muffin, 1/14/2014" Better than the second...still like the first better. "
