"Ay...I loved her Heroes of Quantico series and Irene is now firmly in place as my second favorite inspirational romantic suspense author (Dee Henderson, who is my favorite, likes Irene too). I started this book and could not put it down until 6 hours later, when I finished it! This is the beginning of her new series, Guardians of Justice and I just hope she quickly publishes the next one."

Hannon is a master at character development.
— Library Journal" Loved it. Great book, wonderful action, sweet romance. Definitely recommended. "
— Charity, 2/14/2014" If you love Dee Henderson or Terri Blackstock, you will probably like Irene Hannon. A good Story with strong characters. "
— Joy, 2/7/2014" I thought this book was ok. Not my favorite of hers, and I didn't feel a whole lot of chemistry between Liz and Jake, and I managed to skip over a lot of parts toward the end when they were after the killer. There were several interesting characters that were introduced (Cole, Spence, and Alison), so I'm curious to see who the next book in the series is centered on. "
— Highland-dreamer, 1/25/2014" Predictable...but I finished it! "
— Janelle, 1/15/2014" I always enjoy Irene Hannon's books--great dialogue, well-rounded characters. That said, I prefer her stories featuring less violence and more impending danger. "
— Anne, 12/25/2013" My grade: B+. This was a great inspirational romantic suspense and Jake and Liz were admirable characters. The climax was exciting, the epilogue satisfying (and fun). I know I'll be reading more Irene Hannon romantic suspense. "
— Sheri, 12/4/2013" I expected more of this book than I got. I admit, it was a thoroughly ok-book. The romantic supense aspect was well thought out. It just did not soar to high places. "
— Emily, 5/5/2013" Great story. I loved the action. Reminded me of Dee Henderson and I was pleased to find out that Dee was inspiration to Ms. Hannon. Very exciting and believable characters. Good research. Loved the men, can't wait to read more! I definitely recommend it. "
— Mevia, 2/20/2013" Was pretty good. "
— Penny, 2/6/2013" Very good book. I finished it in two days, despite having a million other things to do/going on. All of her books that I have read have been real page turners that you just can't put down till you finish. "
— Tiffany, 9/11/2012" was a good read but I would of liked more romance "
— Tanith, 8/23/2012" Quick, enjoyable read. Loved the characters. Looking forward to #2 in the series! "
— Susan, 6/25/2012" another great book. I love love LOVE her books. "
— Iris, 4/23/2012" Another awesome book by Irene Hannon. It was neat to see a charachter from her previous Heroes of Quantico books make an appearance in this book too. I highly recommend this book!! "
— Mark, 12/25/2011" Free nook book. "
— Patrica, 9/4/2011" Not only was this book poorly written, it turned out to be very preachy as well. "
— Jill, 5/15/2011" was a good read but I would of liked more romance "
— Tanith, 5/1/2011" Good, but borrowed a couple of plot points from Against All Odds, which made it just that little bit less than outstanding. Nice to see Mark Sanders (from Heroes of Quantico series) as a minor character, but it would have been nicer to see Emily as well... "
— Iola, 4/13/2011" Very good book. I finished it in two days, despite having a million other things to do/going on. All of her books that I have read have been real page turners that you just can't put down till you finish. "
— Tiffany, 4/13/2011" Good read! Story line will have you wanting to read on and on to see how the story concludes. "
— Sondra, 2/12/2011" I believe Irene Hannon has become my new Christian Fiction author. This story about an US Marshall protecting a federal judge was an enjoyable read. Of course the love story always entices me. "
