"I really enjoyed this story. Shocking moments, new beginnings and you’ll find yourself rooting for success. It contains a lot of things: mystery, Love, fashion, and hope and faith. "

" I didn’t enjoy this book. The dialogue was verbose and rather juvenile. How many times does a reader need to hear Sydney tell her dilemma to various characters and then hear the same predictable response? Also, although the fashion industry was itself a character in the book, I feel the numerous descriptions of the characters’ attire were excessive and sometimes interfered with the flow of the story. Why do I need to be told Sydney’s daughter was wearing snow boots when she came in from the snow? Finally, I felt the latter stage of the book was boring and protracted. It felt as if the author had to achieve a required page count. For example, the details about the lives of minor characters such as Bob’s children were unnecessary and uninteresting. I’m shocked this book was written by a veteran like Danielle Steel. I consider it a very amateurish effort. "
— DeeRocks60, 1/5/2019" A very realistic story, a woman trapped in a difficult situation, it ends in a very optimistic way. "
