"For some reason I've been drawn to Danielle Steel books lately even though they are very predictable. I found this one different and enjoyed reading it. Even found myself crying at parts while reading during my commute lol"

" I had a love/hate relationship with this book. Love the characters, hated some part of this book. Would never have picked up a Steele book, but was in N.C. Fr some r&r and was the only thing to read. Guess it was what I needed at that time. "
— Robin, 2/6/2014" Booooring! It's amazing how can she be a bestseller.... "
— Anna, 1/29/2014" I cant rily remember, but it was all about a family who the wife died of bone cancer. Nyway it was rily beautiful.... "
— Priscilla, 1/27/2014" one of my favorite books! "
— Dani, 1/13/2014" A story of love, strength, courage and survival... "
— Rebecca, 1/13/2014" Bernie Fine meets the woman of his dreams, single mother Liz O'Reilly. They get married and have a son but then Liz dies of cancer so Bernie is alone with Jane (Liz's daughter) and the new baby. So the first part is happy and then it's really sad and then it's about how he finds love with someone else. It follows the hero throughout which is a bit unusual for Steel. I think I've grown out of Danielle Steel books - I read a lot of them as a teen but they don't work so well for me now. (Although I do have a soft spot for Season of Passion...) "
— Kaetrin, 1/3/2014" This is an older Steel book and I did enjoy it. I do find now that her books are becoming cookie cutter and I don't read all of the newer ones, unless I happen to see them at the library. "
— Martha, 1/3/2014" I can't help it, I went through a Danielle Steel phase and I really enjoyed reading her wonderfully scandalice tales. The lives of these characters were always fascinating. "
— Jodie, 1/2/2014" Wow! Read years ago. Have read a few times over the years. Fantastic. "
— Rosa, 12/30/2013" I think this is a really good story and I think you will learn something and it makes you think and have compassion for the characters involved in the story. "
— Teresa, 12/23/2013" So enjoyed this story. I loved the way one man fought for a child who was not even his "

— Debby, 12/13/2013" It was so great to read a story about a man that marries a woman that ends up dying of cancer and wants to adopt her daughter..But then ends up fighting the girls birth father cause he's an idiot "
— Nancy, 11/23/2013" Good book but I've enjoyed other DS books more. "
— Denise, 11/21/2013" I usually don't care for such modern tragedy but I have to admit that this book was a page turner for me. I would read it again, maybe. "

— Christina, 7/20/2013" Absolute total garbage! The first, last & only Danielle Steel book I ever intend to read. And I only read because I was a captive audience. I was in the hospital, a friend brought this to me and it was the only thing I had to read! "
— Melodie, 5/28/2013" This is an amazingly sad novel, probably one of Steels better books, although all of her books are wonderful. "
— Elizabethbricker, 4/10/2013" I thought it was a good book, but not one of my favorites. "
