About James Joyce

James Joyce (1882–1941) was an Irish expatriate writer, widely considered to be one of the most influential writers of the twentieth century. He is best known for his landmark novel Ulysses and its highly controversial successor Finnegans Wake, as well as the short-story collection Dubliners and the semi-autobiographical novel A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man.

About Donal Donnelly

Donal Donnelly is an Irish-born film and stage actor who trained at Dublin’s Gate Theatre and later joined the world-famous Abbey Theatre. In addition to playing numerous roles on Broadway and in films, he has established himself as a first-rate narrator. Known for his inspired interpretations of James Joyce, his spirited, lyrical delivery has made him a favorite among listeners.
