Publisher Description

DemoCRIPS and ReBLOODlicans uncovers the truth about how corporations have bought the American electoral and legislative process through the power of lobbyists, campaign contributions, and political action committees. Using historical details, such as the development of the two-party system and the advent of third-party candidates throughout U.S. history, DemoCRIPS and ReBLOODlicans exposes how the two major parties have allowed corporations, businesses, and politically-motivated wealthy individuals to manipulate elections, bribe elected officials, and silence the average American voter.

Exposing the ineptitude and gang-like mentalities of both parties, Ventura advocates the replacement of the two-party system with a no-party system based on the ideals of our Founding Fathers. As election time rolls around, this is most certainly the book that should be looked to for reforming our electoral system.

"Filled with documentation of the corruption of the two major parties, this book prescribes what has worked in so many local elections, namely banning party affiliation bylines on ballots, having all vote together in unified primaries, with run-off final elections between top vote-getters."

Quotes

  • “Thank goodness for the blast of fresh air that is Jesse Ventura…When it comes to the battle between liberal sanctimony and conservative obstinance known as the culture wars, he appeals to both sides.”

    — Los Angeles Times
  • “Activist Dick Russell and…Jesse Ventura have authored or coauthored free-thinking manifestoes…In their new opus, they lace into our two political parties, which they have view as rival gangs preying on the public. At the heart of their diatribes though are the corporations, business, and billionaires who use the now unbridled powers of lobbyists to exact their will on our citizenship. With a proposal that crosses ideological lines, they argue that we should return to the no-party system of our Founding Fathers.”

    — Barnes & Noble, editorial review
  • Providing crisp, well-paced narration that perfectly captures the author's gruff, no-nonsense attitude and straight-shooting personality…Heller's reading presents the book's theories, facts, and historical examples in a clear fashion that will keep listeners engaged until the very end.

" It's very clear Jesse wrote this book and not a ghost writer or anything. It reads as if he was in the room with you. Overall he makes some very good points about the kind of problems we see in government. "
