"This one definately did not end the way I thought it would. Overall, it was good...however keep a clear mind because I promise the outcome you think you can foretell will be totally off. "

Quotes

  • “Monroe engages immediately and masterfully uses the first-person point of view and flashbacks to tell this rags-to-riches story. Don’t look to this author for a formulaic story with characters you easily champion. This is truly a phenomenal account of duplicity, double-crossing, and karma.”

" I am loving this book. I am a total fan. Escapism at it's best. These folks face every possible stereotypical trial/travail known to modern man. Mary Monroe can certainly churn them out. "

" I liked the book but just did not understand her relationship with her parents or why they acted like she was not there or let her run the streets. I love her relationship with the lady next door. She finally got the love she wanted from her mother. "
