Publisher Description

At the end of three long years in the penitentiary, movie star Brandon Carlyle's bad boy career is on the skids. He seeks sanctuary with his beloved aunt and uncle, who live in the tiny, eccentric town of Ticky Creek, Texas. But there's nothing about Ticky Creek that's truly peaceful. The local corrupt sheriff who put him away the first time is going for him again. The sheriff's horny sister is going for him, too. What's more, a crazed anonymous fan has been writing him a series of threatening letters that could mean harm for him and his family. As the stalker closes in, beautiful tabloid journalist Alyson James appears. She seems like the right woman for Carlyle, but could she be the stalker?

"This book was my introduction to romantic suspense. My first and most beloved. Such incredibly dynamic character and plot development... I was sucked into this genre with no hope for return."

" I can only give this about 3 stars. I was NOT in love with the characters or the theme itself. The microscopic print was rough also. I have seen this book listed on several people's favorites lists but I truly didn't understand why. It just wasn't up to my particular taste and standards. "

" Audiobook - Pretty good one at that ! <br/>A little predictable , but that did not take away from the story really . I had things figured out by the second disc ( and was right for once ) , but there is a twist to the predictable that I don't think anyone would have seen coming . "
