"It took me a bit to realize that it was set -from what i assume- in the past, with horse drawn carriages, corsets and odd clothing, and a different way of speaking! It was a pretty good book I just found the whole people with "psychical abilitie"s a bit to odd for me!"

" This book was entertaining enough and kept my interest but I was kind of disappointed in it. The mysteries were not very complex or interesting. The characters are what kept me interested & entertained, but due to the complexity of her other novels I had expected more to this story. I hope the upcoming novels in the series are closer in quality to her earlier books. I will certainly give them a try simply because I have enjoyed her others so much. But this one only gets three stars. "

" I enjoyed this book, but definitely not as much as previous books I've read of hers. The characters felt very flat to me, and the plot was definitely lacking. There were too many things going on at once, and none of them made much sense. The idea was intriguing and I did enjoy it, but overall this book was forgettable and I'm not likely to re-read it. "
