"This was the first book that I ever read by Kimberla Lawson Roby and since then she has me hooked! I have read all the books around Curtis' character and have been thoroughly entertained. The only book that I haven't read YET is "The Best Thing Ever" which is supposed to be about his daughter.... I've got to get it!"

“Roby weaves a fast-paced story about faith's challenges in a world made up of material desires and other physical temptations…An electrifying read.”
— Black College Today“Clay’s voice gives him total credibility as a pathological liar. More important, her performance delivers insight into this Christian woman’s situation without disrespect.”
