" 2.5 stars. I am not going to lie, this book wasn't great. It wasn't terrible either. I really like the premise of the book mixing fallen angels with vampires but got distracted by the shallowness of most of the characters. All the references to clothing brands and money were a little off putting to me. The only reason I will continue to book two is Schuyler. I really like her character and her relationship with Oliver. It does remind me a lot of Clary and Simon in The Mortal Instruments but I realize you don't get much variety in the YA genre. Hopefully book 2 will go in a different direction in Italy. "

" This book is gossip girl meets vampires. I liked it, but it's not great or nothing to get too excited over. It takes place in nyc and is about Blue Bloods, a group of high society vampires. But they are in danger, which the main characters find out later. There's also some romance in it too! "
