"Many are drawn to the familiar, good or bad. That was me with this book, (and the fact that I am a huge Fern Michaels fan). When I discovered that a lot of Betrayal is set in my hometown, Asheville, NC, I was eager to read it. I like it because it has just enough twists to keep you interested. And, of course, I like because it felt familiar."

" Fantastic book - I was totally unsuspecting ! "
— Peggy, 2/20/2014" Good read! One of her best. No sex scenes! "
— Toby, 2/18/2014" I listened to this audiobook during a road trip and I was so caught up in the story the time (and miles) just flew by. Great characters, some I loved and some I hated. The story seemed like something that could happen in our world today and I think that it being so realistic made it more interesting. "

— Linda, 11/18/2013" It took me a while to get into this book, and then I couldn't put it down until I was finished. I wanted to see what Kate would do to get revenge for her husband's wrongful conviction and murder. I wanted to know if Kate would be able to free herself of the hatred she felt. "
— Nancy, 11/15/2013" LOVED this book. I couldnt put down. All the twists and turns. The ending after the trial and death of the other main character, Alex was AWESOME and totally unexpected. I really thought the trial would go differently but I am glad Michaels spun it the way that she did! "
