" Well I couldn't put down the book... it was great reading "

" I usually like reading Val McDermid books but this one took a while to get into and I felt like it wasn't until near the end of the book that it got exciting. I wouldn't recommend this one but I recommend others by the same author. "

" A cracking good read. Tony Hill confined to bed by a damaged knee, solves a series of poisonings and a bomb attack. Rather too many sexual allusions (do I need to know the sexual preference of his team?) and too much swearing for my liking. "

" I think this is my favorite Tony Hill book thus far. Not as twisted and graphic as some of them, but incredibly well written with excellent character development. I think this book also book gave the best insight as to the quirkiness of Tony Hill with the introduction of his mother. "
