"In general this is an enjoyable light historical romance with Christian theme. The main storyline is a classic historic, romance between Felicia, the new school teacher, and Colin Murphy, a local merchant. The story is well written and really warm, too. Bible quotes were a bit to much, but were nicely integrated with the characters."

" I liked this book. I would not re-read it and that is why I gave it only three stars. I love clean books, and this one was. I did however hope to discover more about her past and have her find family. I am hoping this is the first in a series because otherwise it leaves you hanging. Also, I wouldn't have minded some suspense or mystery. I too, thought it would have been nice to read more about Kathleen and Oscar who seemed to get married after only a handful of "hellos" and yet, knew they were in love. I liked The characters, what I knew of them, but it could have been a little deeper. "
