Adventurous and fun-loving Becca Daniels loves the rush of new experiences and is constantly pushing the envelope—trying everything from extreme sports, to wild hair colors, to skydiving. So when a broken leg grounds her temporarily, Becca doesn’t take the interruption well. Grumpy, restless, and at loose ends, Becca bristles one day when some of her Getaway Girls Book Club friends tease her about being commitment-phobic. To prove them wrong, Becca impulsively promises to accept a date with the next guy who asks her out; and to date him for three months or twenty-five dates—whichever comes first. Unfortunately, the first invitation comes from Ben—too “churchy” and definitely not Becca’s type. Determined to win the bet, however, the two embark on a hilarious series of dates that plunge the outspoken, purple-haired Becca into a sea of church potlucks and prayer meetings. Ultimately, the dating experiment opens Becca’s eyes to a new perspective on her life’s purpose and a new understanding of who’s directing her path—an epiphany that could lead to her biggest adventure yet.

"Very cute book although I was disappointed with the ending. Wasn't the outcome I was expecting and perhaps that's the whole point. It's a realistic ending but kind of abrupt. Could have used another two or three chapters for full closure."

" has a character named Mindy. peace corp nudge. "
— Mindy, 12/9/2013" The 3rd in the Getaway Girls series. Love the series already and can't wait for the next one "
— Leslie, 11/12/2013" I thought the ending was very interesting. Not particularly what I expected, but I was kind of glad. "
— Saralyn, 9/23/2013" Disappointing because I really enjoyed the two previous books. "
— Cherie, 2/21/2013" I wasn't entirely thrilled with the ending but overall it was good. "
— Jackie, 1/19/2013" Wasn't really impressed by this book, the main characters constant snarky attitude was grating after a while. It was funny at first, but afterwards, it was as if she couldn't develop the character much. I don't know. "
— Erin, 3/26/2012" This is a funny look at commitment. Of course it gets more serious as the book goes on but there are chuckles until the end. This is the third in a series of "Getaway Girls" book club. Good Christian Chick Lit. "
— Diane, 8/28/2011" Quick read....laughed out loud.....fun! "
— Julie, 3/18/2011" I don't think this was as good as the others in the series, but I still liked it. I enjoyed the new characters that were introduced, especially Lucy, Ben, & Ben's grandmother. However, I felt Becca was too flighty and irresponsible. The ending felt too abrupt for me, like something was missing. "
— Tricia, 12/15/2010" I kept waiting for this book to start. Nothing really happened - just an evolution of a changing attitude. No big happy ending. No real ending. "
— Sherry, 10/11/2010" In all reality I would give it a 3 1/2 I thought the characters were interesting and the story was sweet. It did not end like I expected which was awesome :-) "
