Beautiful Redemption, the conclusion to the series that began with Beautiful Creatures, finds Lena Duchannes reeling from death of Ethan Wate. But in a world filled with Casters, and especially for a Natural as powerful as Lena, death is not the end. Lena will work with allies and enemies, dedicated to finding the Book of Moons and with it, her chance to bring Ethan back from the afterlife.
What she does not realize is that she is not alone in this pursuit. Ethan discovers that life after death looks strangely like life before death. The Otherworld looks like the town of Gatlin which he left so suddenly, and has he explores his afterlife, he discovers that he may not have been truly meant to die. Ethan then must dig deeper, to discover the secrets to this ghostly realm, and to reunite with Lena in the mortal world.
In February 2013, the film "Beautiful Creatures" introduced the nation at large to the world of the Caster Chronicles. One of the best reviewed young adult fantasy series in recent memory, the story of Ethan Wate and Lena Duchannes is masterfully written by authors Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl.
Kami Garcia grew up outside of Washington DC, having strong southern roots, and has always been fascinated by the supernatural. She describes herself as superstitious; her online bio notes that she "would never sleep in a room with the number '13' on the door." Margaret Stohl, after graduating from Amherst College, honed her creative writing skills in the video game industry, working with Activision on a number of high profile games before starting her own studio with her husband. Both now reside in California, and are working on separate projects.
"Great finish to a satisfying series. I really wish they hadn't tanked the first movie so much. They didn't leave, in my opinion, a reasonable open door to do this story line justice in future movies. I hope everyone who sees the movie decides to read the books. They are SO MUCH better."

Is death the end . . . or only the beginning?
Ethan Wate has spent most of his life longing to escape the stiflingly small Southern town of Gatlin. He never thought he would meet the girl of his dreams, Lena Duchannes, who unveiled a secretive, powerful, and cursed side of Gatlin, hidden in plain sight. And he never could have expected that he would be forced to leave behind everyone and everything he cares about. So when Ethan awakes after the chilling events of the Eighteenth Moon, he has only one goal: to find a way to return to Lena and the ones he loves.
Worlds apart, Ethan and Lena must once again work together to rewrite their fate, in this stunning finale to the Beautiful Creatures series.

— RT Book Reviews" I absolutely loved this series but was left disappointed in this book. As a final book in a series it should have blown my mind. Instead I felt like the author got burned out on writing the books so they just glossed over so major details that could've made it so amazing. The story it's self was awesome, but the writing was lacking in this final book. The rest are amazing though! Still highly recommended! "
— Lacie, 2/20/2014" I really liked the way they ended the series, although sad, it made sense. They did a good job of wrapping things up. "
— Erin, 1/18/2014" The ending was exciting and sad. I do hope they write more. "
— Phillip, 1/6/2014" The ending finally. Not the best in the series, but it ties everything in a nice bow though. Ethan's journey was boring-ish for once. Lena's is okay, but still boring-ish :( "
— Helen, 12/23/2013" Just okay. Not my favorite. Too adolescent. "
— M, 12/17/2013" Yet another amazing book! I was so happy when i read the ending few chapters! I cried in happiness! "
— Little, 12/15/2013" great ending to the series. I felt it drag a little during the first part, but overall... a good escape. "

— Amy, 10/1/2013" there should be a couple more chapters because there needed to be a little more but they were all really good "

— Bailey, 8/11/2013" Plot threads were all tied together nicely in the end, though the ending itself was very bittersweet... Still, loved it! "
— Callie, 7/10/2013" On the advice of a friend I stuck with this series, so glad I did this book was the best ending to all that this series put you through. "
— Amy, 4/26/2013" I like the ending, because it ended. There's nothing I dislike more than ending a series with a chance for another book to be written. I enjoyed the series, and am attempting to read it again, less quickly this time. "
— Brenda, 3/27/2013" It was really disappointing how every major event just happened like something would on any other day. The parts that were supposed to be the most exciting were more boring than the filler. I can't believe I read this whole series and watched the even worse movie. "
