Plot Summary
Beautiful Redemption, the conclusion to the series that began with Beautiful Creatures, finds Lena Duchannes reeling from death of Ethan Wate. But in a world filled with Casters, and especially for a Natural as powerful as Lena, death is not the end. Lena will work with allies and enemies, dedicated to finding the Book of Moons and with it, her chance to bring Ethan back from the afterlife.
What she does not realize is that she is not alone in this pursuit. Ethan discovers that life after death looks strangely like life before death. The Otherworld looks like the town of Gatlin which he left so suddenly, and has he explores his afterlife, he discovers that he may not have been truly meant to die. Ethan then must dig deeper, to discover the secrets to this ghostly realm, and to reunite with Lena in the mortal world.
In February 2013, the film "Beautiful Creatures" introduced the nation at large to the world of the Caster Chronicles. One of the best reviewed young adult fantasy series in recent memory, the story of Ethan Wate and Lena Duchannes is masterfully written by authors Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl.
Kami Garcia grew up outside of Washington DC, having strong southern roots, and has always been fascinated by the supernatural. She describes herself as superstitious; her online bio notes that she "would never sleep in a room with the number '13' on the door." Margaret Stohl, after graduating from Amherst College, honed her creative writing skills in the video game industry, working with Activision on a number of high profile games before starting her own studio with her husband. Both now reside in California, and are working on separate projects.

Instead I felt like the author got burned out on writing the books so they just glossed over so major details that could've made it so amazing. Kami Garcia is the New York Times, USA Today, and Publishers Weekly bestselling author of the Legion series, which is being developed as a major motion picture.
