"Very good book. I loved it. I think this is a wonderful start to a great series (from what I hear from EVERYONE!) It was a unique beginning that was GREAT! I loved the characters. Each had "real" personalities, not cookie cutter personalities that were predictable. It was a fantastic read!"

" I liked this book, but Maggie really irritated me a lot for a while. I could understand her reluctance because of her past but for fucks sake, the man did a shit load for her and requested NOTHING in return. That should've given her a bit more faith in him. Also, there wasn't much romance for my taste. I could see how they could get attached to each other because of their initial ordeals especially, but it goes from her being wary and scared of him, to suddenly in blinding love. Not my favorite by this author by any means, but not terrible either. "

Catherine Anderson is the New York Times bestselling author of over twenty contemporary romance novels, including Coming Up Roses, Lucky Penny, Summer Breeze, and Comanche Magic. Anderson has won numerous awards throughout her career, most notably a Career Achievement Award from Romantic Times. She currently lives with her husband in Central Oregon.
