About the Author

Maureen McHugh has lived in China, New York City, Ohio, Texas, and now lives in Los Angeles. She is the author of Mothers & Other Monsters, Story Prize finalist; China Mountain Zhang, a Tiptree Award winner; and Nekropolis, a New York Times Editor’s Choice.

About the Narrators

Thérèse Plummer is an actor, award-winning voice-over artist, and counselor. She is a winner of several AudioFile Earphones Awards and has been a finalist for the prestigious Audie Award for best narration. She has appeared in a variety of television and film roles. As a counselor for adolescents, she spent five years using drama therapy techniques in individual and group settings.

Angela Lin, an Earphones Award–winning audiobook narrator, graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA degree in drama. A critically acclaimed actress, her credits include The Good Wife, Law & Order: SVU, and As the World Turns, among others.
