Publisher Description

On the way home from a conference, Don Piper’s car was crushed by a semi that crossed into his lane. Medical personnel said he died instantly. While his body lay lifeless inside the ruins of his car, Piper experienced the glories of heaven, awed by its beauty and music.

Ninety minutes after the wreck, while a minister prayed for him, Piper miraculously returned to life on earth with only the memory of inexpressible heavenly bliss. His faith in God was severely tested as he faced an uncertain and grueling recovery. Now he shares his life-changing story with you.

90 Minutes in Heaven offers a glimpse into a very real dimension of God’s reality. It encourages those recovering from serious injuries and those dealing with the loss of a loved one. And now it is available in this audio edition, emotionally read by Don Piper himself. The experience dramatically changed Piper’s life, and it will change yours too.

" I really liked this book. The author talked about his experience of heaven, as a result of an automobile accident. However, he mostly focused on his recovery process. A great book about allowing God to use the pain in our lives to minister to others. "

" Ever since I became hooked to Heaven is for real I have enjoyed this topic. This book also is reasuring and hopefull. However, it talks more about his recovery than his actual time in Heaven. Overall this was good ! "

" This story is mostly about this man's agonizing recovery. I was hoping for more of the Near Death Experience recount & the take-away in his life. Also, it was very poorly written, repeating itself over and over. "

" Though I'm skeptical that near death experiences actually happen (the Bible says we are appointed to die once), this was an interesting chronology of this man's experience. "

" To me this is less of a story about heaven and more of a story about getting through tough times in your life with God by your side. I liked that the author was honest about his feelings, stuggles, and that he had questions- it felt genuine. "
