Murray Melvin is an English actor who appeared in the original productions of Oh What a Lovely War!, Sparrers Can’t Sing, and as Geoffrey in the kitchen sink drama, A Taste of Honey. He was a member of Joan Littlewood’s Theatre Workshop, and under her guidance went from sweeping the theater stage to acting on Broadway and beyond, and whose films include turns with Joseph Losey, Stanley Kubrick, Lewis Gilbert, and Ken Russell. |
