" The problem with this book is that as a follow up to a classic, modern horror novel it falls short. I had always wished King would write a follow up to The Shining and was anxious to read it. The book is a decent read and a fine story but pails in comparison to the original story. Would still recommend for King fans but not his best work by far. "
