Enter E. Aster Bunnymund, the only emissary of the fabled brotherhood of the Pookas—the league of philosophical warrior rabbits of imposing intellect and size. Highly skilled in martial arts (many of which he invented himself), Bunnymund is brilliant, logical, and a tunnel-digger extraordinaire. If the Guardians need paths near the Earth's core, he's their Pooka. He's also armed with magnificent weapons of an oval-sort, and might just be able to help in the quest for the second piece of the Moonclipper.

"Okay I noticed these books a couple years ago but never got around to really looking into them. After seeing Rise of the Guardians I discovered that the movie is roughly based on this series. So, having enjoyed the movie and the premise around it, I just had to read them. Sure part of me is disappointed that most of the books are completely different from the movie, however mostly I am just addicted to them. I love the premise behind both, and as much as I would love a book about Jack Frost (and in line with the movie) I am completely happy with the books so far. They are very different but similar in the ways that "speak" to me. Very good, quick reads. Great for kids who enjoy reading!"

It continues the story of Nicholas St. North, Katherine, and Ombric as they search for the relics that will help in their battle against the evil Pitch. I read this story with my son, who frequently stopped to shout out an inference or belief that he had for what was happening in the story. It has been a long time since he has been so interested in a series of books as he is with these. We are eagerly looking forward to starting the third in the series and hope that the fourth will be published soon. "

About William Joyce

William Joyce is the New York Times bestselling author of The Man in the Moon, Nicholas St. North and the Battle of the Nightmare King, Santa Calls, and others. He has won three Emmy Awards for his Rolie Polie Olie animated series, developed character concepts for Toy Story and A Bug’s Life, and made the films Robots and Meet the Robinsons. He is currently executive producer of the DreamWorks Animation release Rise of the Guardians. Most recently, he won an Academy Award for his animated short film The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore. He lives in Shreveport, Louisiana.

About Gerard Doyle

Gerard Doyle, a seasoned audio narrator, he has been awarded dozens of AudioFile Earphones Awards, was named a Best Voice in Young Adult Fiction in 2008, and won the prestigious Audie Award for best narration. He was born of Irish parents and raised and educated in England. In Great Britain he has enjoyed an extensive career in both television and repertory theater and toured nationally and internationally with the English Shakespeare Company. He has appeared in London’s West End in the gritty musical The Hired Man. In America he has appeared on Broadway in The Weir and on television in New York Undercover and Law & Order. He has taught drama at Ross School for the several years.
