Theodore Rosengarten is an American historian. He received his BA in American studies from Amherst College and a PhD in history from Harvard University. Along with All God’s Dangers, which won a National Book Award for contemporary affairs, Rosengarten has authored Tombee: Portrait of a Cotton Planter, which won a National Book Critics Circle Award for best biography. He is a professor of history at the College of Charleston, and currently resides in South Carolina. |
