Rosemarie Tong Audio Books

Dr. Rosemarie Tong is a distinguished professor of health care ethics in the Department of Philosophy and director of the Center for Applied and Professional Ethics at UNC Charlotte. She received her PhD in philosophy from Temple University in 1978 and has come to be internationally known for her contributions to feminist thought and bioethics. A sought-after speaker, she regularly delivers addresses for leading institutions and organizations around the world. Dr. Tong is the former chair of the American Philosophical Association’s Committee on the Status of Women and was also co-chair of the NC Institute of Medicine’s taskforce on Pandemic Influenza. She is an executive board member of the International Network for Feminist Approaches to Bioethics, the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics, the US Women’s Bioethics Project, the Executive Forum of Charlotte, and the North Carolina Biotechnology Center.
