Rick Wershe Jr. became the youngest FBI informant ever at age fourteen. At age seventeen, after being released by the FBI, he was busted for possession of cocaine, for which he was given an automatic life sentence as part of Michigan’s cruel “650-Lifer Law.” He was paroled in 2017 after spending twenty-nine years in prison.
