Richard Curtis Audio Books

Richard Curtis is a New York–based literary agent and the founder, owner, and president of Richard Curtis Associates, Inc. After his first taste of publishing, he stepped into writing as a freelance author, seeing around fifty of his books go to shelf. With two decades of know-how under his belt, he was perfectly placed to launch his own firm. During the 1980s, Curtis was a regular columnist for Locus magazine. In 1999, he went digital and unveiled the first independent e-book publisher, E-Reads. A rewarding career saw Curtis become the inaugural president of the Independent Literary Agents Association. He also undertook the presidency of the Association of Authors’ Representatives, represented the Science Fiction Writers of America, and received the Romance Writers of America Industry Award for Distinguished Service to Authors. Curtis has given numerous lectures and conducted panels and seminars regarding the future of publishing. He lives in Manhattan with his wife and two children.
