Peter Stone has, for the last two decades, covered a wide array of lobbying and campaign finance issues in Washington. At National Journal, where he spent almost eighteen years, he broke several scoops on the Jack Abramoff influence-peddling scandal. Stone started his career at the late muckraking magazine Ramparts, where he was one of the editors in the early 1970s. He has written for the Nation, the Atlantic, the New York Times, and the Washington Post and is the author of the Abramoff exposé Casino Jack and the United States of Money. He lives in Silver Spring, Maryland. |
