Marcus Seibert, born in 1964, studied philosophy in Cologne and Paris; this was the right education to become a writer for various German television shows, including Lindenstrasse. He has translated French films, books, and novels, and writes for the German cine magazine Revolver. To prevent a midlife crisis, he decided to write only what truly has meaning for him—scripts for director friends, blog entries, and prose. Anecdotes currently appear online and in various anthologies.
