Laurie Short is a speaker, author, and associate pastor of Ocean Hills Covenant Church in Santa Barbara, California. She speaks at conferences, colleges, churches, and denominational events around the country, and has spoken to over half a million people in the last twenty years. Laurie is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary, and the author of several youth ministry books. Finding Faith in the Dark is her first book geared toward a wider audience. Recently, she has been thrilled to add “wife” and “mom” to her biography. She, her husband Jere, and her stepson Jordan have led mission trips to Haiti and Nicaragua, two areas of the world they continue to serve and support. |
