Lauren Frankel received her BA in English from Vassar College, where she also mentored homeless and pregnant teenagers. Following a stint in film production, she worked as a residential supervisor in a home for disadvantaged girls. She has worked with young people, as both an educator and a librarian, in the United States and the United Kingdom. She received her MA in creative writing from the University of East Anglia, where she won the David Higham Award. Her writing has been featured on BBC Radio 4, and she lives with her husband in Berkhamsted, England. |
