Harry Bliss is an American cartoonist and illustrator. He studied painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and illustration at the University of Arts. In addition to being a cover artist for the New Yorker, Bliss has illustrated several bestselling children’s books including A Fine, Fine School by Sharon Creech, Diary of a Worm by Doreen Cronin, and Countdown to Kindergarten by Alison McGhee. He is also the author and illustrator of the children’s series Bailey. He recently signed on with Tribune Media Services to create a one-panel string featuring his well-known gags titled Bliss. He currently lives in South Burlington, Vermont. |
