Tallulah Casey is ready to find her inner artist. And some new mates. And maybe a boy or two or three. The ticket to achieving these lofty goals? Enrolling in a summer performing arts program, of course. She’s bound for the wilds of Yorkshire Dales — eerily similar to the windswept moors of Wuthering Heights. Tallulah expects new friends, less parental interference, and lots of drama. Acting? Tights? Moors? Check, check, check. What she doesn’t expect is feeling like a tiny bat’s barging around in her mouth when she has her first snog. Bestselling author Louise Rennison returns with her trademark wit, a hilarious new cast, and a brand-new cheeky heroine who is poised to discover plenty of opportunities for (mis)adventure!

"This isn't quite> a full 4 stars, but since it frequently made me laugh out loud, I'm willing to be generous. Tallulah Casey is an adorable, knobby-kneed, long-legged disaster of a fourteen year-old, off to "artistic" summer camp in Yorkshire. All the characters are ludicrous caricatures, but you can't stop yourself from laughing at them (and occasionally, with them, but mostly at them.) There were a fair number of terms I didn't know, most of which I assumed was because I'm not British. But considering Tallulah also provided us with a glossary at the end, it appears the majority of them may be Tallulah-isms. (or the author was taking pity on us poor Americans) Overall, just lots of fun!"

" sooooo funny!!! i loved the irish dancing! "
— Thenesia, 2/5/2014" When it first began I was afraid it was going to be too much like Georgia but I learned to love it for itself! I laughed so hard and it was wonderful. "
— Courtney, 1/1/2014" I probably expected too much, which is why I was disappointed. "
— JuJu, 12/30/2013" Still funny, but not as good as I expected. "
— Kate, 11/23/2013" Louise Rennison's style is fantastic for teenage girls - I read this as a light read and it did exactly what it says on the tin - really funny and a good read. "
— Elena, 11/14/2013" I loved Angus Thongs, but I couldn't even finish this book. Tallulah was annoying with none of Georgia's charm. And I normally loves books about drama kids! "
— Meg, 10/7/2013" Tallulah Casey is a cousin of ... Georgia Nicholson. She is not as self-absorbed as Georgia and her friends aren't (yet) as well-drawn, and there's no Sven, but it's still good fun and a quick read. "
— Elizabeth, 10/1/2013" Ohhh Louise. You are so funny, but sometimes (often?) so formulaic. Gave up about 2/3 in because the goofy dialogue, fun as it was, wasn't enough to keep me going. Good for tweens, though! "
— Jen, 8/18/2013" There is a lot of Georgia in cousin Tallulah and I am stoked because I miss Georgie terribly. Love it. "
— Jaimie, 8/12/2013" This book was amazing! In my personal opinion, at first it was slow, but it then got better and better! I liked all the characters, especially Tallulah's friends, and all the boys are pretty funny characters too... && I especially liked Charlie and Cain! I'm not exactly sure about Alex yet(: "
— Aleisha, 1/23/2013" Oh, Louise Rennison. How you make me laugh. "
— Kelsey, 12/10/2012" Disappointing. Love her Georgia Nicholson series so much that I own it. Hopefully, series will get better. "
— Tiffiny, 10/6/2012" I was so excited for this book and I was just so let down! bah :( "
— Erika, 9/6/2012" Her characters are always funny and makes you wish you were eating lunch with them or hanging out! Loved this book! I hope this series is as long as the Georgia one. :) "
— Onna, 7/8/2012" Absolutly hilarious, just as grand as the Georgia books! I laughed so hard I cried. "The twins were ready for an action-packed day of being really odd," was one of the best lines ever. I need to remember not to read the next one in public. I always get carried away. "
— Janet, 6/24/2012" A very cute first in the series. Definitely a good follow up to Georgia Nicolson. I'll be looking for the next one! "
