One year ago Lia Kahn died.
A few days later she woke up.
She had a new body: mechanical, unfeeling, inhuman. She had a new family: mechs like her, who didn’t judge her for what she could no longer be. She had a new life, one that would last forever.
At least, it was supposed to.
But now everything Lia thought she knew has turned out to be a lie; everyone she thought she loved has been stolen away. And someone is trying to get rid of the mechs, once and for all.
Lia will risk everything to save herself and the people she can’t live without. But not before facing one final truth: She can’t save everyone.

"THAT ENDING!!!!!!!!! HOLY BAJESUS!!!!!! My mind...it. Got. Blown...to pieces. I can honestly say THAT is NOT AT ALL how I saw it coming. Not at ALL. When you start the trilogy with Skinned, it is EXTREMELY different from Wired. Skinned starts off with Lia Kahn, being turned into a Mech. Crashed takes it a step further and leads you into SOME of the hectic craziness that you read in Wired, but NOTHING could have prepared me for that ending. I can truly. honestly, say that I could NOT have imagined that ending. One of the main reasons is that you THINK you know how it will end. You THINK you see Lia getting her HEA with someone slightly unexpected but at the same time not. Thankfully Robin Wasserman never did the whole love triangle thing, thank the heavens, but there was some implying that it could happen, making you believe that Lia would finally get her HEA. Except that of course, that would be too easy, too simple, that would be wrapped up in a too predictable way, so of course, Robin Wasserman doesn't do what's expected. This whole trilogy has never been about doing what's expected and THAT is why you fall in LOVE with it and keep reading and keep FREAKING OUT till the VERY END."

" I found the end a little anti-climatic, if logical. I suspect that is my age showing, though. "
— Joy, 2/19/2014" very good, though im not fussy over the ending, would of liked to see more books released. "
— Tamara, 2/9/2014" I think I took too long between reading the second book in this series and the third - I struggled to remember where the second book had left the story, and I had lost my connection to the characters. Wired brings us to a (kind of) conclusion to the "what is the evil corporation up to?", with some pretty high stakes for the characters. And I actually quite enjoyed the ambiguous ending. "
— Celia, 2/2/2014" The book was good until the ending, which was a big disappointment. "
— Tiffany, 1/27/2014" Blah! The ending to this book really really really annoys me. Not only does my favorite character get killed off half way though, but the ending is badly explained and does not seem to conclude the book very well, the whole problem seems to be left unsolved, not that I really understood what the problem was to begin with. It did not seem to end happily either. "
— Phoebe, 1/20/2014" I thought the book overall was good but i was confused on some parts. I also dont like how it ended. "
— Melissa, 1/16/2014" The triliogy was absolutley fantastic! I loved everysingle page! Except for the end of Wired. It was VERY anticlimax. I think it was a terrible ending to such great books. Really ruined the rest of them for me... "
— Danielle, 12/31/2013" I am just going to comment on the ending. It has been a few years since I read this and I am still unsure how I feel about the end. either it was bloody ridiculous and just made me angry...or...it was pure genius. Still haven't decided. "
— Stina, 12/13/2013" I was expecting a better ending. It was still worth a read if you like the futuristic society ideas. "
— Megan, 12/7/2013" It was good, but I'm not sure I was quite satisfied with the end. "
— Kristie, 10/9/2013" I love the trilogy i didn't want it to end..i read the last chapter 10 times, i kept thinking what the hell is going on...am not gonna say what happened cause i don't want to spoil it for anyone...its a kinda book i will recommend to anyone i dont just like the ending. "
— Florentina, 9/28/2013" I'm looking forward to this final installment of the most fraught teen series I've ever read. I don't know whether I enjoy these books, but I certainly am mesmerized by them. "
— Cher, 7/16/2013" I did not like the ending at all! "
— Sidney, 6/29/2013" Didn't like the end at all. "
— Monica, 6/24/2013" I would say that this final installment was as good as the first two, and some of my former character opinions were changed for the better (like Zo). But alright... that ending?! "
— Kira, 6/12/2013" It just leaves you thinking... (: "
— Polly, 5/23/2013" This series has been so out of the box and amazing. Just loved it. The ending was fantastic and totally unexpected! "
— Cecilyn, 5/20/2013" Sort of a flaky end, but still enjoyable. "
— Gwen, 10/6/2012" This was a good read. Not as good as the first two. Not sure that I liked the ending but maybe it's the only way it could end. I am glad that I found and read this series, it was worth it. "
— Jennifer, 8/31/2012" Terrible ending leaving far too much unfinished. It's a shame since this was (or could have been)a fabulous trilogy. It seems like the author had to end this story quickly so didn't bother to tie up loose ends. "
— Ladyx, 8/5/2012" Really breathtaking. I couldn't put it down for too long without picking it up again. "
— Kara, 9/23/2011" I LOVED this series!!!! But, what can you expect from an anacharist, agnostic, technology loving and fearing girl? "
— Mandy, 8/23/2011" It didn't end like I thought it would. But I still loved it! "
— Liz, 5/4/2011" Well thank god the characters in this series finally show a few redeeming qualities. Not many, but enough to make me like them a little more. I enjoyed this book much better than Crashed. I thought it had a great & unpredictable ending. Overall I liked this series "
— Tanya, 5/3/2011" Really breathtaking. I couldn't put it down for too long without picking it up again. "
— Kara, 5/1/2011" I liked the book but seriously wish it ended differently!
I wanted Lia to end up with Jude!!!!!
I didnt really like her relationship with Riely because Jude obviously loved her but she just wpuldnt admit that she liked him!!!
I liked the book but so would have ended it differently!! "
— Erika, 4/27/2011" still feel like Lia was too whiney in this last book. feel like the author dabbled in plot ideas and then abandoned them along the way (the dad and mom). "
— Lynneth, 4/22/2011" While I loved the series as a whole, and the story of this particular book was great, I wasn't a huge fan of the ending. I guess that's just me - I love happy endings, and even bittersweet endings are great, but I'm not sure I completely understood what happened at the end. "
— Rebecca, 4/14/2011" I found the end a little anti-climatic, if logical. I suspect that is my age showing, though. "
— Joy, 4/12/2011" Would have been a 5star if it weren't for the ending. "
— Aimee, 4/11/2011" I LOVED this series!!!! But, what can you expect from an anacharist, agnostic, technology loving and fearing girl? "
— Mandy, 3/11/2011" is this really the last book?

i mean was it just me, or was this book very open ended???

i hope theres a second one because i am not satisfied with this ending!! "
