White Fire: Booktrack Edition adds an immersive musical soundtrack to your audiobook listening experience! Past and present collide as Special Agent Pendergast uncovers mysterious connections between a string of 19th century bear attacks in a Colorado mining town, a fabled, long-lost Sherlock Holmes story, and a deadly present-day arsonist. In 1876, in a mining camp called Roaring Fork in the Colorado Rockies, eleven miners were killed by a rogue grizzly bear. Corrie Swanson has arranged to examine the miners' remains. When she makes a shocking discovery, town leaders try to stop her from exposing their community's dark and bloody past. Just as Special Agent Pendergast of the FBI arrives to rescue his protege, the town comes under siege by a murderous arsonist who-with brutal precision-begins burning down multimillion-dollar mansions with the families locked inside. Drawn deeper into the investigation, Pendergast discovers a long-lost Sherlock Holmes story that may be the key to solving both the mystery of the long-dead miners and the modern-day killings as well. Now, with the ski resort snowed in and under savage attack-and Corrie's life suddenly in grave danger-Pendergast must solve the enigma of the past before the town of the present goes up in flames. Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music. The tempo and rhythm of the score are in perfect harmony with the action and characters throughout the audiobook. Gently playing in the background, the music never overpowers or distracts from the narration, so listeners can enjoy every minute. When you purchase this Booktrack edition, you receive the exact narration as the traditional audiobook available, with the addition of music throughout.

"I have been a fan of these two writers for years and years both together and as individuals and have been collecting a library of audiobooks for a long time. I usually get my books from Audible but some of the books (5 titles in all) in this particular series are not available there. This edition of White Fire with booktrack was amazing! I have not previously experienced this feature and I am happy I purchased it. I haven't wanted to proceed with the series without the "missing" books and was extremely happy to find them on Audiobookstore. I have loved the Pendergast series from the beginning and while it has been a few years since I read the last one, I was able to remember and pick up the back story from the previous 13 books. I had forgotten how good these stories are and I love that I can now continue to enjoy this amazing series!"
