At 18, Charlotte Page made a life-altering mistake. She wronged a man in an impulsive act that she came to deeply regret, though it led her to her present life as Mrs. Charlotte Harris, owner of Mrs. Harris's School for Young Ladies. Unbeknownst to her, that man is now her anonymous benefactor, the mysterious Cousin Michael. His masquerade began as preparation for a devastating revenge, but became a labor of love. Now Charlotte desperately needs his help. Can he save her from disaster as his real self without revealing the ugly secret behind his charade? " I probably should've tried harder to read this series in order, but the first book left me so curious about Mrs. Harris... [spoilers removed] "

" While I didn't guess that Charlotte and "Cousin Michael" had a previous relationship, I wasn't 100% surprised at who he turned out to be. Clues were definitely given ;)

It was nice to see Venetia and the rest of the girls as well. "

" I usually love Ms Jeffries books but THE TITLE of this one really put me off. ACK!! I am hoping that was NOT her idea. "

" it wasn't EVERYTHING I was hopeing for but it was still pretty good. didn't see the end coming though I rarely did with these books. can't wait to buy the next ones. "

" Average historical romance. Clearly part of a series which was irritating. "

" I was disappointed with this one...the last book of the series and the plot sucked. Charlotte finally finding out who "cousin Micheal" really is was anti-climatic. Just really messy plot that was frustrating to read. "

" Enjoyable enough braincandy, but it didn't make me want to go and read the rest of the series right now. Plenty of characters from the rest of the series (I think this is the last book?) do pop up, so that has to be an added cherry on top for those who've read all the books. "

" For a light fun read it really make you think for a moment about life's misunderstandings & what ifs :o) Good book but not my favorite of this series as it didn't have the humor I've come to expect so much.

" A perfect ending to a wonderful series!! This was my favorite "School for Heiressess" book. "

About the Author
Author Sabrina Jeffries

Sabrina Jeffries is the New York Times bestselling author of thirty-seven novels and nine works of short fiction (some written under the pseudonyms Deborah Martin and Deborah Nicholas). Whatever time not spent writing in a coffee-fueled haze of dreams and madness is spent traveling with her husband and adult autistic son or indulging in one of her passions—jigsaw puzzles, chocolate, and music. With more than 7 million books in print in eighteen different languages, the North Carolina author never regrets tossing aside a budding career in academics for the sheer joy of writing fun fiction, and hopes that one day a book of hers will end up saving the world. She always dreams big.
