The last thing Sid remembered was being enlisted to protect a vulnerable young woman in the coastal town of Sea Haven. Then, as if in some nightmare, he was lost in the swirling currents of the ocean, and sucked deeper into a freezing black eddy. Just as quickly, he was saved—pulled ashore by a beautiful stranger. Her name is Rikki, a sea-urchin diver in Sea Haven. Soon they will be bound by tantalizing secrets, which will engulf them both in a whirlpool of passion and danger.

"This is a good book if you understand autism. I'm a slow reader and I read it in 3 days (in between working, playing, cleaning, etc....). Some of it goes into too much detail and drags on, but I just skipped over some of that, skimming the paragraphs. However, I really did enjoy the book."

“An exciting combination of mystery, danger, and magic. In Rikki Sitmore, Feehan has created an inspiring heroine who faces the challenge of autism. Her hero, Lev Prakenskii, has his own immense baggage, so the collision of their lives provides readers with an action-packed and romantic tale. Awesome as always!”
— RT Book Reviews (4½ stars, Top Pick!)" a great book in a wonderful series from a great author "
— barbara, 6/21/2017" I really enjoyed her approach to describing how the character experienced life as a mildly autistic person....it was fascinating that she went that route and the direction she took the story in order to include that aspect. "
— Jessica, 2/18/2014" A spin-off of the Sister's book. Pretty good. Should be an interesting series. "
— Judy, 2/14/2014" Kind of sappy but worth finishing. "
— Barbara, 1/27/2014" Love this new series, it is continued from the Drake Sister series. I can not wait till the second one comes out. "
— Derina, 1/17/2014" Read my review at Read-All-Over "
— Maya, 1/3/2014" I will read this book again! "
— Maggie, 12/27/2013" I believe in giving most books another go as I have found that you have to be in the right frame of mind and the right mood to really enjoy a story. So with that in mind, I have decided to give this book another go as I feel that I may have allowed other peoples views colour mine. Shall see once I have finished it! "
— Claire, 12/18/2013" This book was filled with amazing, water-filled adventure. I like how water was explained as soothing and moody. It was also interesting to have an autistic heroine and an amnesiac hero with a firestarting maniac. Interesting reads. "
— Mariah, 12/17/2013" It was a good book but I had a hard time connecting with any of the characters. "
— Chelsea, 12/7/2013" Soo great!! "
— Haylie, 10/14/2013" I absolutely love this book. Although I do have to admit that the heroin is a little wimpy but hey, I would be too if I had a psycho after me who had killed everybody I had every loved and was after me. "
— CeCe, 5/26/2013" Fun new series from my favorite author. I love that it's set in Sea Haven a town I've grown to love from the Drake sisters series. "
— Val, 12/29/2012" Christine Feehan is a great story teller - one is kept entertained throughout. Can't wait to read the next one "
— Lana, 9/16/2012" Good lighthearted fun. :) "
— Tracy, 6/13/2012" A little slower than her usual... "
— Karen, 5/25/2012" This series doesn't do it for me. "
— Michalus, 4/1/2012" I loved this book. I think it is the first I have read with an autistic heroine. The characters are both lovable with their own quirks. I did hope to read more about the Prakenskii family after finishing the Sea Haven Series. And of course we meet old friends - some of the Drakes. "
— Alexandra, 1/1/2012" I liked this book. I did feel like it took a while to get into the "paranormal romance" part of the book, but it was a good easy read. She did a great job of connecting you to the charactor right away, so your felt part of her through her adventure. "
— Monica, 12/3/2011" Terrible. Absolutely terrible. The writing was stilted and repetitive even from Ch. 1. So spare yourself and don't buy it. "
— Sasha, 11/13/2011" Love this new series, it is continued from the Drake Sister series. I can not wait till the second one comes out. "
— Derina, 6/25/2011" I liked it, Its a typically Christine Feehan Book and I like them for easy reading. Commuting from and to work an hour and half a day, its takes not long to finish the book. I read it on my e-reader.
I haven't read the Drake-series yet, but I might ad them to mat to-be-read pile :) "
— Marion, 6/11/2011" There was just WAY too much internal dialogue from Lev going on. Every time he looked at Rikki he started waxing poetic about some piece of fluff or other. I was a little bored. "
— MRS, 5/19/2011" A delight. Couldn't put it down. "
— C.l., 5/15/2011" This series doesn't do it for me. "
— Michalus, 5/12/2011" I love it from the bining
"
— Pamela, 5/10/2011" I liked that the female protagonist was someone with a different sort of personality.
She was strong and yet vulnerable in a new way for a romance heroine. "
— Sue, 2/28/2011" 3.75 out of 5 stars. Intriguing story which is bogged down (my opinion of course) by the multitude of sexual scenes. The book could have been a third less of its 435 pages if there had been a bit less detail (but the details were necessary to understand the characters Joni...whatever). "
— Joni, 2/22/2011" MP3 from Gates Library. Book 1 of 2. Due back 3/11/11. Nice little romance. Full of scuba diving and humans with special powers. The autistic Rickki Sitmore and Russian hit-man, Lev Pretzinsky are the main characters.
"
