"About 3/4 of the way through the book, I thought I knew how it would end and I was disappointed with my imagined ending. Then, it ended differently and I was quite pleased with how strong the main character was, and how despite all the murder and teenaged foibles, she's really a great, strong character to be a good role model for young readers."
