About Dedé Mirabal

Bélgica Adela (Dedé) Mirabal (­1925–2014) was born in the city of Salcedo in the Dominican Republic. She was the only one of the four Mirabel sisters to survive assassination on November 25, 1960. She lived in Salcedo and ran the Mirabal Sisters Museum.
