Publisher Description

A vampire's oath, a maiden's quest... And the blackest of magic that could consume them both... Daniel, vampire and ally of the Warriors of Poseidon, has fought on the side of humanity—even against his fellow creatures of the night—for more than 11,000 years. But the crushing weight of futility and the reality of always being starkly, utterly alone has forced him to finally give into despair. He took the first step into the sunlight that would destroy him—and instead walked into Atlantis. Eleven thousand years ago, Serai was one of a group who agreed to be placed into magical stasis to ensure the future of the Atlantean race. When a dark sorceress steals the gemstone that protects her sleeping sisters, she awakens to a vastly changed world—and the one man she could never, ever forget. And with an ancient evil tracking their every step, the long-lost lovers must battle both the darkest of magic and the treacheries of their own hearts.

"Another sequel I had been looking forward to reading and excited to slip right back into. It was interesting to have the main male lead not be one of the warriors from Atlantis, and I was excited to get to know Daniel a bit better. His reunion with Serai happened very quickly, but still flowed well once the book got going. I enjoyed having a majority of the characters return, but was a little disappointed that Alexios and Grace didn't even get a mention, as well as Denal, but here's hoping for the following sequel to have more on those characters."

" This was another good addition to this series. Vampire Daniel's story. The series is winding up soon so I wanted to be caught up and this book is full of action. I'm wondering if one of the secondary characters might be able to be redeemed as well. "

" This was a really great story. Daniel had been an ally in past books but he's finally decided that at 11,000 years, he's had enough and is ready to meet his maker. When he tries to greet the sun he does not die, but is reunited with Serei, the woman he loved and thought he lost so many years before. This was a great story of their love lost, reclaimed, and their battle to do their part to save civilization. But they have been betrayed so many times before, who can they trust? "
