Publisher Description

Abby Johnson quit her job in October 2009. That simple act became a national news story because Abby was the director of a Planned Parenthood clinic in Texas who, after participating in her first actual abortion procedure, crossed the line to join the Coalition for Life.

Unplanned is a heartstopping personal drama of life-and-death encounters, a courtroom battle, and spiritual transformation that speaks hope and compassion into the political controversy that surrounds this issue. Telling Abby's story from both sides of the abortion-clinic property line, this book is a must-have for anyone who cares about the life-versus-rights debate and helping women who face crisis pregnancies.

"It was a really good eye opener. It shows that a baby is a baby even in the mother's womb. If you get emotional with books you might need a tissue. I was surprises I did not need one. I am defently pro life. There is always adoption. This is good because people who can't have kids will be able to raise some, when the true birth parents can't raise them."

" This isn't a literary piece, but a raw out-pouring of emotion and true-life reality of a courageous woman. I wish everyone one of us could have the type of life-changing revelation that Ms. Johnson experienced during October 2009. "

" Fantastic! Eye-opening to the struggles that many inside the abortion industry must face. Well written and gripping. This book really gave me a glimpse of what it is like to believe the opposite of what I do. Great read, no matter which side of the abortion debate you take. "

" The author's attempt to paint herself as a naive victim didn't appeal to me. I'm not sure how someone with a Master's degree and the ability to run a clinic has zero critical think skills. "

" Abby was pro-life to begin with so there really wasn't any change in belief and just a change in where she works. She comes across as naive, unsure of what the heck is going. "
