Virginia Henley, born in Bolton, England, is the New York Times bestselling author of over twenty-five historical romance novels. She is the recipient of a number of awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award from Romantic Times and a Maggie Award for Excellence from the Georgia Romance Writers. In addition, she has won Romantic Times Awards for Best Elizabethan Historical Romance, Most Sensual, and Best English Historical Romance.
