What secrets can be found by the light of the Cajun moon? New Orleans may be the “Big Easy,” but nothing about it was ever easy for international business etiquette expert Chloe Ledet. She moved away years ago, leaving her parents and their famous French Quarter restaurant behind. But when she hears that her father has been shot, she races home to be by his side and to handle his affairs—only to learn a longhidden secret that changes everything she knew to be true about herself and her family. Framed for murder, Chloe and a handsome Cajun stranger must search for a priceless treasure, one whose roots weave through the very history of Louisiana itself. But can Chloe depend on the mysterious man leading her on this cat-and-mouse chase into the heart of Cajun country? Or by trusting him, has she gone from the frying pan into the fire?

"A friend of mine told me about this book. I was hesitate at first, but was soon sucked in. Being that I am from the areas in the ook. It was a breath of fresh air hearing about some of the true history of southern Louisiana mixed in with the fiction. It is not usually my genre of fiction that I enjoy, but I could not put this book down. Loved it!"

" Of the 4 books I've read by this author I liked this one the best. "
— Lisa, 2/20/2014" *Love Mindy Starns Clark "
— Mackenzie, 2/18/2014" FYI this is a Christian based book. I thought it had good development of its characters and story line. Faith in God is part of the story, but not overbearing. Overall a good read. "
— Barbara, 2/12/2014" Well written book. Enjoyed the backdrop of Louisiana. Characters are well developed and enjoyable. "
— Stephanie, 2/11/2014" I enjoyed this book. It is well written. I liked how it went between the past and present and intertwined those stories. There was a little too much romance, but it wasn't unbearable. The mystery was good and kept me guessing. It wasn't one that I solved right away. More character development would have been nice, but that is me being nit picky. I also enjoyed how the mystery seemed decently realistic. It's a good read and worth picking up from the library. "
— Kristin, 2/10/2014" I enjoyed this book but it was a bit predictable and just didn't keep my attention as well as some of Mindy Starns Clark's other books. I highly recommend her first series. If you like a little mystery with romance that is good and clean then this is a good choice. I did like how Clark wove a story from the 1700's into a present day mystery. "
— Cheryl-Lynn, 1/30/2014" I absolutely LOVED Under the Cajun Moon. I loved the intertwining of the past and the present. I loved the setting and the characters. I could not stop reading till the end. And it was a satisfying believable ending. What more could a reader ask for? "
— Lyn, 1/25/2014" Awesome book, I was drawn into a story, that left me guessing until the end, and took me for a ride I will not forget!!! "
— Michelle, 1/21/2014" A Christian mystery set in New Orleans, and a winner of an AFCW award. I don't read a lot of mysteries because I love slower paced drama and character development, but this was a fun, engaging romp around Cajun country that kept me engaged to the end. "
— Anne, 1/18/2014" Fun Cajun mystery book! "
— Bobbie, 1/6/2014" This book had everything - romance, history, mild suspense, mystery. I liked this author's mystery writing better than Terri Blackstock's. I would like to also read Whispers of the Bayou. "
— Nanette, 12/22/2013" I have liked most of her books. A little romance, mystery, and good values. I thought this one was one her best, kept me guessing. "
— Maile, 12/10/2013" I have read several of Mindy Starns Clark's books, and always enjoy them. This one is a real "keeper" on my book shelf, and I will have no problem recommending this to a reader who enjoys Christian mysteries. I look forward to Ms. Clark's next book. "
— Leona, 10/16/2013" I don't normally give books 5 stars but this one was very refreshing. A mystery with a fun intriguing plot, a hero we'd all like to know, and a skeptic damsel in distress. This book was also the cleanest I've read in a long time! "
— Casey, 8/13/2013" The New Orleans references were good; just not enough. Takes place mainly in the bayou. It is a fun kind of mystery with a romance thrown in for good measure. Another beach read...'nuff said. "
— Kerry, 8/9/2013" lame - o. seemed to begin well, like she got sloppy & in a hurry to meet her deadline & put together several "just in times" & happy coincidences. "
— Pam, 5/30/2013" I loved this book. I could not put it down...shows you to trust and have faith in others even though your situations tell you not too. I cant wait to read another one of her books!! "
— Erin, 1/31/2013" This book is awesome! It made me laugh, cry, and was overall a very intense novel "
— Alexis, 12/6/2012" Good book, very interesting read about Cajun country and its ways. My sister lives in the deep South of Cajun country (we were raised in north Louisiana). The author did a great job of bringing the book to an end. I do enjoy her books. This is the second one I have read. "

— Mother, 6/11/2012" The was a very interesting Read - read more than once "
— Aurelia, 5/17/2012" Borrowed from Stacy, good book with a bit of suspense by Mindy Starns Clark. It switched back and forth between modern day and a story line from France in the late 1700's. Took me a few chapters to adjust to different story lines but got into it and they came together toward the end of the book. "

— Linda, 4/21/2011" Fun mystery with Cajun culture thrown in. "
