This is Jordan and Courtney, totally in love. Sure, they were an unlikely high school couple, but it worked. They're even going to the same college, and driving cross-country together for orientation. Then Jordan dumps Courtney - for a girl he met on the Internet. It's too late to change plans, so the road trip is on. Courtney's heartbroken, but figures she can tough it out. This is Courtney pretending not to care. But in a strange twist, Jordan cares. A lot. Turns out, he's got a secret or two that he's not telling Courtney. And it has everything to do with why they broke up, why they can't get back together, and how, in spite of it all, this couple is destined for each other.

"I liked this a lot. Believable but endearingly quirky secondary friend characters, a situationy plot (requiring a little suspension of disbelief at some points!) and two really charming protagonists. I thought the dialog was great, the emotions were intense, and the ending very satisfying. "

" Right from the start of the book, I was hooked. I love how things switch from Jordan's and Courtney's point of view. However, this book is just a good summer love book that does not take much thought. So if that is what you are looking for this is perfect. "
— Allison, 5/22/2011" This was alright! Not TOO much substance, but I liked the way it ended. "

— Rashina, 5/8/2011" it was confusingly written. i wish i would have just gone in order. i liked the 2/3 of the book more than the last part. Jordan is AWESOME, Courtney is an idiot, like all thew girls in these books. "
— Karen, 5/5/2011" I loved it! I read and re-read and re-read. Unpleasing abrupt ending, but the journey to the end was amazing!! Totally worth reading! "
