"Had an audio version, and the kids didn't like the narrator's accent, so I ended up listening alone while driving. I found myself wanting to drive somewhere just so I could find out what would happen next. Loved it & so glad to have finally "read" this classic!"

" This book was pretty good. It was a good storyline but the literature was a bit old fashioned. I did like how they got to go to an island and look for treasure that a pirate had hid there. Some people who appreciate older literature might appreciate this book more than I did. "

" Finally got around to reading this and enjoyed it quite a bit. Adventure on the high seas! Long John Silver! Dumb kids making bad decisions and everything turning out more or less okay! "

" I read this book when I was younger, but re-read it recently. This book is amazing - who doesn't like a classic pirate story? For a book that is considered a classic, it's quite easy to read, and of course the characters are unforgettable. "

" I had never read this classic before and was surprised how much I liked it. Maybe it is because I like the idea of mystery and adventure all packaged together. It was a fun read and would recommend it for a fun quick read that is all about pirates. "
