Publisher Description

From the number one Kindle best-selling author of A Modern Witch comes modern romance with a touch of magic.

Nell Sullivan is fiery, easily distracted by cookies, and doomed to wear the peach monstrosity at her best friend's wedding.

And she's a witch.

Daniel Walker is a former baseball player turned bored hacker looking for a challenge. Hacking Nell's online gaming world is going to get him a lot more than he bargained for.

A prophecy says they will make babies together - but when it comes to the love life of a modern witch and a hacker, prophecy might not get a vote.

"This is my favorite Witch Central book so far. I loved reading about how Nell and Daniel found each other. Geary's writing continues to make me laugh and tear up within seconds of each other. There is something to it that distantly reminds me of Hemingway. I love this series and the wit interwoven into it."

" Meh, I was really looking forward to this one - and I'm pretty underwhelmed by it. I read it in an afternoon and I have a sneaking suspician that was the only reason I slogged it out to the end :S I found Nell really annoying and just couldn't empathise with her plight (which really surprised me, since I that's usually one of Debora Geary's strengths!). Oh well, it won't stop me from avidly reading the rest of Geary's books :) "

" I liked going back and seeing Nell and Daniel. I didn't realize there was such an age difference between her and the triplets. It was fun but I think I like them better ensconced in Witch Central as I know it now. "

" Kind of wish that I read this series in order... since I'm kind of jumping around from modern time to 1997.. and then back again, but it was a quick read with a happy ending. "

" Sigh...I tried so hard to make this one last, but sadly it does end. That's the only negative comment I have on this one. DG has outdone herself again! If you love genuinely good stories, fancy the thought that magic is real and love life and family - then this series is for you!!! THANKS AGAIN DG!! "

" This is a short story. We finally get to know Daniel. How Daniel and Nell got together. It is a romance about a witch and a non with. It is a backstory for Nell. We often hear about Daniel but he's not in the story much. I enjoyed because I have come to like Nell so much. "

" This book is a prequel to the X Witch books and tells the story of how Nell and Daniel met and fell in love. As usual, this book is light yet causes main characters to confront their fears. It is full of some fun dialog and situations between friends and siblings. And there is glitter :-) "

" What a treat to see Daniel and Nell's backstory, and what Witch Central was like back in the 90s. As always, I love the way Geary infuses her books with love, respect and a healthy dose of magic. Recommended for those who've read and enjoyed any of Geary's other books. "

" Nice prequel (for me) of the Modern Witch series. I'm not sure what order these were written - but this is a prequel for me. It tells how two characters in the Modern Witch series met and fell in love. I understand their story a bit more now. "
