About R. L. Stine

R. L. Stine has more than 400 million English-language books in print, plus international editions in thirty-two languages, making him one of the most popular children’s authors of all time. Besides Goosebumps, he has written series including Fear Street, Rotten School, Mostly Ghostly, the Nightmare Room, Dangerous Girls, and Just Beyond. About the Narrators

Jim Meskimen is a stage, film, and television actor who has appeared in many well-known movies and television shows. He acted in Apollo 13 and Frost/Nixon for director Ron Howard, both of which were nominated for Best Picture Oscars. His television appearances include The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Friends, Lie to Me, Criminal Minds, and Parks and Recreation. He is also a painter, award-winning audiobook narrator, and audiobook director for Galaxy Audio.

Kirby Heyborne is a musician, actor, and professional narrator. Noted for his work in teen and juvenile audio, he has garnered over twenty Earphones Awards. His audiobook credits include Jesse Kellerman’s The Genius, Cory Doctorow’s Little Brother, and George R. R. Martin’s Selections from Dreamsongs.

Tara Sands is an American actress, television host, and voice talent who has won numerous AudioFile Earphones Awards for narration. She is former cohost of Fridays on the Cartoon Network. In addition to performing in plays and musicals, her voice can be heard on numerous commercials, audiobooks, cartoons, and video games.

Tavia Gilbert is an acclaimed narrator of more than four hundred full-cast and multivoice audiobooks for virtually every publisher in the industry. Named the 2018 Voice of Choice by Booklist magazine, she is also winner of the prestigious Audie Award for best narration. She has earned numerous Earphones Awards, a Voice Arts Award, and a Listen-Up Award. Audible.com has named her a Genre-Defining Narrator: Master of Memoir. In addition to voice acting, she is an accomplished producer, singer, and theater actor. Bradford Hastings is a voice talent and audiobook narrator.

Joniece Abbott-Pratt has narrated many audiobooks for children, young adults, and adults. She has won several AudioFile Earphones Awards and in 2021 was a finalist for the prestigious Audie Award for Best Fantasy Narration. She earned an MFA degree in acting from the University of Iowa and has performed on regional theater stages across the country, including the Public Theater in New York City. She has also appeared on television shows, including The Good Fight, Law and Order: SVU, Luke Cage, and Orange Is the New Black, and has voiced commercials and projects for US Bank, Johnson & Johnson, and others.

Dascha Polanco, born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Brooklyn, is best known for her SAG Award–winning performance as Dayanara Diaz in the Netflix hit show Orange Is the New Black. Recently, Dascha can be seen in Ava DuVernay’s Emmy Award–winning Netflix series When They See Us and Ryan Murphy’s FX anthology series The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.

Dascha has a big slate of upcoming work, including Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Feature Film Project In the Heights, scheduled to be released in June 2021. Currently, she is filming along side Sylvester Stallone as the female lead of his next action thriller, Samaritan. Dascha also will star as a series regular in FOX’s upcoming pilot Blood Relative.

Dascha’s achievements have been recognized by numerous awards, including the ALMA Awards, HOLA Awards, and the National Association of Latino Independent Producers (Lupe Award). Huffington Post recognized her as one of the Latinas to be “Breaking the Mold,” and the Hollywood Reporter named her one of the 40 Young Latino Powerhouses in Hollywood.

Jordan Fisher is a multifaceted artist whose talent knows no boundaries. Jordan can most recently be seen in the Netflix dance comedy Work It, opposite Sabrina Carpenter and Liza Koshy and the fandom sequel To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, starring alongside Noah Centineo and Lana Condor. Musically, Jordan has cracked the Top 40 with his original music and collaborated with artists such as Lin-Manuel Miranda, subsequently joining the cast of the Tony Award–winning musical Hamilton.

Pun Bandhu is an award-winning actor who has worked on Broadway, off Broadway, in TV, and in film. He is the recipient of the Colorado Theatre Guild’s Henry Award for Best Supporting Actor and New Dramatists’ Bowden Award for his distinguished collaboration on new works.
