Deborah Meier is a renowned educator, MacArthur Fellow, and the founder of the small schools movement. She is on the faculty of the Steinhardt school of education at New York University.
Emily Gasoi has gained experience in her long career in education as a classroom teacher, curriculum and assessment developer, researcher, program evaluation specialist, new teacher mentor, and adjunct professor. An elementary school teacher for nearly a decade, she has taught in both private and public school settings. Beginning in 1997, she worked with MacArthur award-winning educator, Deborah Meier, to found the now internationally recognized Mission Hill School in Boston. In 2012, Gasoi earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania. Gasoi currently lives in Washington, D.C. where she is co-founder of Artful Education, an organization focused on helping schools and arts organizations improve practices related to creative teaching and learning.
Lorna Raver, named one of AudioFile magazine’s Best Voices of the Year, has received numerous Audie Award nominations and many AudioFile Earphones Awards. She has appeared on stage in New York, Los Angeles, and regional theaters around the country. Among her many television credits are NYPD Blue, Judging Amy, Boston Legal, ER, and Star Trek. Emily Woo Zeller is an artist, actor, dancer, choreographer, and voice artist who has won Earphones Awards and the prestigious Audie Award for Best Narration in 2018. She began her voice-over career by voicing animation in Asia. AudioFile magazine named her one of the Best Voices of 2013 for her work in Gulp. Other awards include the 2009 Tristen Award for Best Actress as Sally Bowles in Cabaret and the 2006 Roselyn E. Schneider Prize for Creative Achievement.
