" I watched the Worst Witch television series with my mother before ever knowing that they were based on books! Not a series that I grew up with, but one I wish I had read when younger because I just adore Mildred and her antics :) "

" I liked reading about all things magical from a young age, and so I loved this series. I liked reading about all the scrapes Mildred manages to get herself into. I enjoyed watching the TV series as a kid too. "

" Finally completed the collection of Worst Witch books, and although the kiddies love them, I found them very slow going with not much of a climatic ending. "

" Change of scenery for a while, that was a nice surprise. I love the fact that Mildred loves her cat so much that she just can't be apart from him and takes him along. I so can relate to her, it also pains me when I have to leave my cat at home when on holidays. "

" This story is about a girl named Mildred, who is a witch in training. She rescues a magician named Mr. Rowan-Webb from the school pond as he was drowning. It’s a very good book and if you like magic you will like this book. "
