About Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu

Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu (1814-1873) was an Irish author and the leading writer of gothic and mystery stories of the time, helping develop the genre in the Victorian Era. His most widely-read works are Uncle Silas, In a Glass Darkly, and Carmilla.

About Full Cast

Frank Lovejoy (1912–1962) was an American film, radio, and television actor who played a number of detectives, reporters, and soldiers over the course of his career. His gritty voice was ideal for radio, and he went on to star on such shows as Night Beat and Gangbusters.
